Vision Statement of our Founder
"Our endeavour in the V.K.M. was to link up education with culture. While seeing that the higher standards at the academic end are maintained we felt that the girls should inspire the finest cultural traditions of the land…. Our educational effort was to synthesise full freedom with total sense of responsibility."
Run by Besant Education Fellowship and situated in the precincts of the Theosophical Society, V. K. M is affiliated to Banaras Hindu University, the glorious temple of learning created by Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya. As it has been admitted to the privileges of Banaras Hindu University V.K.M. implements the syllabus provided by Banaras Hindu University upholding the ideals and vision of Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya on the one hand and lays distinct stress on specific set of curricular and extra mural activities continuously being managed and monitored at the institutional level for the promotion of the philosophy of Annie Besant on the other. This confluence of great ideas enriches the entire profile of the college. It aims at imparting education of holistic nature which empowers different dimensions of students' personality. They grow both inwardly as individuals and also as responsible citizens able to serve the community.

Our Founder Principal-Smt. Leela Sharma
